At Fox International, we take your privacy very seriously. To this end, before you send any personal information to Fox International, please read the statement set out below 

OVERVIEW
The Data Protection Act 1998 regulates the processing of information relating to you and grants you various rights in relation to your personal data. Fox International is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and that it complies its obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998.

The statement explains how we will treat any personal information that you provide to us when you use this Site. It also outlines some of the security measures that we take in order to protect your privacy and gives certain assurances on things we will not do.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT 
When you register on our Site we will hold your name, address, telephone number and email address. We will also hold the delivery address(es) for your orders and the password information associated with your account. We also maintain a record of your product selections. If you wish to close your account and remove your collected information please email us at info@foxint.com. You may change any information recorded in your account by logging in at the Fox website. We may also collect information about where you are on the internet (for example the URL you came from and the way in which you navigate the Site). When you register for an account you will be given the option to subscribe to the Syndicate to receive updates from us in relation to our products. You will need to give your location and contact email address. Please see below for more information about the Syndicate.

Information collected when registering a warranty is stored securely. This information is held for three years from the start of the warranty and then removed from our warranty storage facility.

When you order products or spares from us, we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders and to notify you of the status of your order. We also ask you for your telephone number which will enables us to contact you urgently if there is a problem with your order. It may be necessary for us to pass on your contact details to carriers used by us to deliver products to you.

Please note that the safety of your credit card details are of the utmost importance to us. We do NOT collect or store any credit or debit card numbers or the card's expiry date from this website. All our transactions are processed on Barclay or Ogone secure payment gateways and you will be sent to the gateway via an encrypted connection. You will be asked for these details on the banks secure servers. 

We use the information we hold on your records for operational purposes; for example processing your order, dealing with queries, tracking deliveries, reviewing past purchases. Your order history enables us to tailor our product range and marketing information (e.g. promotions and special offers) to your requirements. All the information we hold is used to improve your customer experience. Any successor to Fox International may use your information on the same basis. We also use the information to keep you up to date with Fox International mail outs and sending emails as appropriate via your Syndicate subscription. We do not make our mailing list (postal or e-mail) available to any other companies outside the Fox International Group. 

We may disclose your information to other companies within the Fox International group for the purposes outlined above. Also we may disclose your information to any company which takes over our business in the future, to allow it to continue to provide the services which we offer through the Site. Otherwise we will only disclose your information to the extent that we are compelled by law to do so.

You are entitled to receive a copy of the information we hold about you via an electronic Subject Access Request. Please email us at info@foxint.com to begin the request process. If you wish to close your account and remove your collected information please email us at info@foxint.com.

If you think your data has been misused or that Fox International hasn’t kept it secure, Please contact Fox International with details. If you’re unhappy with our response or if you need any advice you should contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

The Syndicate
The Syndicate is a members-only club that provides regular communication by email from Fox International featuring latest Fox carp news, editorial content, competitions and information about our new product releases. We will also communicate details of our video series from our YouTube channel. Members will have exclusive access to competitions and content via the Fox website Syndicate page. You will also have first sight of our yearly product catalogue and other carp related electronic publications.

Joining The Syndicate requires the user to supply an email address and their location. Once received we will send the user a confirmation email to verify you are the owner of the email address. To confirm your email address click the confirmation link.

Once confirmed you are subscribed to the Syndicate and give permission for Fox International to send you by email newsletter the above Syndicate content.

Each communication from Fox will provide the ability to Unsubscribe from The Syndicate via a link. To completely remove/delete your email address and location please contact Fox on info@foxint.com. To re-join The Syndicate simply add your email address to the Sign Up/ Log In form on the Fox website.

We will contact subscribed users every 5 years to ensure you still consent to remain a member of the Syndicate.

Syndicate competitions are exclusive to members. You will need to enter your email address and name to be included in the prize draw. Your details are used for prize draws only and will not be used for any other purposes.

SECURITY
We realise how important it is to securely store any information that you provide. Fox International maintains high levels of security. Our Site uses high-level encryption technology. Information remains scrambled whenever it is transmitted over the web. This means that ordering via our Site is even more secure than ordering over the phone. You can tell whether a page is secure as "https" will replace the "http" at the front of the web site address, in the address bar, in your browser window. A small locked padlock will also appear in the bottom bar of your browser window.
